Florence is one of the most lovely towns I've visited yet. I got to see some incredible art (Botticelli, Michelangelo, etc) and taste some delicious REAL Italian pizza.
Hi Maddy - I've loved reading your blog entries, and I'm very happy to know you've had such great travel experiences. I'm especially happy that you enjoyed your trip to Florence so much (I have a personal bias!) You have definitely taken full advantage of your time away, and I totally agree that it makes a lot more sense to travel more extensively in one area than travel very briefly in more spots. I hope you had a chance to enjoy some gelato during your time in Florence and Rome. My favorite flavors ire Nocciolo (Hazelnut) and Stracciatella (chocolate chip). Though any coffee-flavored gelato is pretty fabulous, too. I hope you have a fabulous time enjoying your final days abroad. We look forward to catching up with you in St. Paul over the summer.
